Assistant Director
Those who know Conita describe her as someone with a natural passion for helping others—something she finds healing for herself as she pours into those around her. Throughout both her childhood and adult life, she has experienced and survived what many would consider complex trauma. These experiences have shaped her into a deeply empathetic and compassionate woman. She seems gifted with the ability to sense the pain and struggles of others, and she is often moved to speak life, offer support, and step in wherever needed—whether for family, friends, or even complete strangers she feels drawn to.
Her faith has not only sustained her through adversity but has given her the strength to overcome and to offer hope and encouragement through her living testimony.
Conita considers it an honor to be part of this organization because helping others is both her calling and her joy. She understands the magnitude of the world’s needs, yet she believes that even small acts of service matter. While her individual contribution may seem modest, she knows that when women join together in sisterhood, they are truly better together.
Conita is the mother of six adult children and the proud grandmother of six. In addition to serving as Assistant Director, Conita shares a decades-long friendship with the founder of Am I My Sister’s Keeper, Inc. They carry the same heart for the organization’s mission—first to honor God, and then to strengthen one another as they reach outward to serve their community and the world. Their partnership is a testament to faith, sisterhood, and a shared commitment to being about their Father’s business.

I serve as the Assistant to the COO of a women’s organization, where I help keep our mission moving by supporting leadership, coordinating in-town operations, and making sure our events and daily functions run smoothly. I’m passionate about creating spaces where women feel supported, encouraged, and seen.
Outside of my role, I’m a proud mother of two and a devoted wife. My family is my foundation, and the love and strength I pour into my work comes from the life we’ve built together. Balancing family and service is part of who I am, and it inspires me every day to show up with purpose, compassion, and commitment.
